Ahead of the 2022 elections, David Richardson has received the endorsement of the Arizona Nurses Association’s Political Action Committee (AzNA-PAC). The AzNA-PAC endorsement process includes a questionnaire and interview process. They evaluate eligible candidates based on the Public Policy Agenda of the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA).
AzNA’s Public Policy Agenda directs the association’s policy efforts. The association supports policies that enhance a culture of health that will enable the people of Arizona to live the healthiest lives possible and assure all Arizona registered nurses have access to the resources necessary to provide quality patient care.
The AzNA-PAC endorses candidates who have clearly demonstrated a responsible awareness of the needs of the nursing community.
David shared his reaction to the endorsement:
“Oftentimes when people think of excellent healthcare, they think of new technologies or state-of-the-art buildings. In reality, the foundation of excellent healthcare is the people providing it. It’s an honor to receive this endorsement from the Arizona Nurse’s Association PAC, and I look forward to listening and working together to promote a healthy Arizona.”
